This was the second of two paintings of this palm...the first I painted on location but when I got it home I felt the colors were "too cool". So rather than fiddle with it to try and make it right, I painted this second version using the first on as my guide. Playing in the paints again, enjoying the "juicy brushwork" that spontaneity provides!
